Val Gardena is located in the majestic Dolomite Mountains of the Italian province of South Tyrol, the northernmost and wealthiest province of Italy. Prior to World War I, South Tyrol was a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which explains why South Tyrol looks and feels more Austrian than Italian. Indeed, 62% of the population still speak German as their primary language. Val Gardena has 500 km of connected slopes and 155 lifts for you to enjoy. It is also on the Sellaronda, a ski circuit of connected ski lifts and runs that completely encircles the Sella Mountain Group and passes through 5 villages around the circuit.

$2,460 per person double occupancy includes:

7 nights accommodations at the Hotel Oswald in Selva di Val Gardena, Italy with full European breakfast buffet daily.
Dinner each evening in Val Gardena.
Round trip airfare Newark Liberty Airport to Milan or Venice (leave EWR 3/1, arrive 3/2).
Round trip bus transportation from Milan or Venice to Hotel Oswald.
Porterage in and out of the hotel.
Please note that lift tickets are NOT included. The Dolomiti Superski Pass is the most-inclusive lift ticket option (2022/23 rate of 360 euros for 5 of 6 days) and covers all ski resorts in the region. This pass is also included in the IKON pass. Other lift ticket options are available.
Please note that transportation between Trenton and Newark Liberty Airport is NOT being provided for this trip.
Please note that Italy requires Skier/Snowboarder insurance coverage. This can be bought online for a price of 3 euros per day.
Trip price does not include airline baggage fees and any additional fuel surcharges that may be imposed.
TSC recommends all trip participants purchase travel insurance.
Please note that the advertised price includes an estimate for the airfare. Should the airfare come in higher than the estimate, a price adjustment will be implemented.

Optional Trip Extension to Venice, Italy
February 27, 28, 29, and March 1 and 2, 2024

Begin your Dolomiti Ski Holiday with a 3 day visit to the unique city of Venice, only 3 hours southeast of Val Gardena. Explore the medieval treasures of Venice, including the Byzantine St. Mark's Basilica, the opulent gothic Doge's Palace, the Rialto Bridge over the Grand Canal, visit a gondola workshop or the Murano glass workshops or the Orsoni mosaic tile factory whose tiles are being used to restore the mosaics in St. Mark's Basilica, grab a seat at one of the cafes on St. Mark's square in the evening and listen to live music while watching the world go by.

$350 per person double occupancy for the Venice trip extension includes:

3 nights accommodations at the Hotel Plaza Venice-Mestre, located across the street from the Mestre train station on the mainland just outside the city of Venice. It is a one-stop, 10 minute train ride across the lagoon to the Santa Lucia train station within Venice.
Depart Newark Liberty Airport on February 27, arrive Venice on February 28.
Bus transfer from the airport to Hotel Plaza Venice-Metre on February 28.
Bus transportation from Venice to Val Gardena on March 2.
European breakfast each morning.
